Lanelle has been treating me with Five Element Acupuncture for about two years now. I am very pleased with her skill and talent. Before I came in to see Lanelle I felt very tired all the time. When I woke up in the morning my shoulders and neck were so stiff and painful. It was very hard to get up in the morning and I felt badly in the evening as well. I felt very anxious and irritable, and didn’t know why. I would take things out on the person closest to me. I struggled with taking care of my needs and others needs. Now I am able to deal with issues individually instead of not knowing why I am upset. I wake up feeling much better. No pain in my neck and shoulders! I have more energy. I have less anxiety and irritability. I feel more able to take care of myself. I have been able to reduce the dose of my medication by 75%.

I’ve been going to Lanelle for treatment for the carpal tunnel I have in both wrists and hands. When I started treatment, both my hands and forearms were numb. After just a few visits, my hands and wrists are back to about 85% of normal! On top of non-tingling wrists and hands, I have had much more energy and a real sense of “balance” throughout my entire body.

I started seeing Lanelle about 2 years ago for depression. I had been seeing a therapist and, while it helped in some respects, I was still depressed. I didn’t want to take anti-depressants, so my therapist recommended I try acupuncture. Lanelle really took the time to understand what I needed. After a few sessions, I felt so much better and I continue to feel great with regular follow-up care. I’m grateful for Lanelle’s knowledge and expertise in the acupuncture field.

I have a fear of needles and was very hesitant about even trying acupuncture as a way of treatment for my issues. My original reasons for going to see Lanelle were to help with digestive ailments, year-round allergy symptoms, and also stiffness in some joints that prescription medicine was not helping. After the 1st round of acupuncture treatment, I was already able to feel relief of the stiffness in the affected areas. Sometimes immediately after the needle was inserted, I could actually feel the muscle/joint area release its rigidity and feel blood circulate in the area. Lanelle’s technique of using the proper size needles for each different patient has certainly eased my fear of needles and often times I am unable to feel them at all. Lanelle’s knowledge of natural herbs has greatly helped my digestive and allergy issues too. I no longer feel the need to take an antacid (Tums/Pepto) after meals. My allergy symptoms have lessened and I rarely have to take allergy medication, only during certain high pollen count seasons. I don’t have to receive acupuncture treatments as frequently now, but when I do I definitely leave with a feeling of healthy well-being.

Lanelle is terrific. I have had several visits to see her, my trusted advisor and Acupuncturist, for various health matters from neck and lower back pain to feeling extremely fatigued. She really cares, takes the time to talk with you and learn about your health. After several visits, I felt like a new person filled with more energy and less pain! Before getting acupuncture, it was extremely painful throughout my back and arm. It was the worst pain I’ve ever felt and it was constant. On a scale of 1-10 it was an 11. Now my pain is almost completely gone. Occasional light pain here and there, but only a 1 or 2 and lasting for only minutes. It’s no longer constant and I’m able to exercise and live my life the way I used to before I was hurt.

I have to admit I am a born skeptic but when my elbow pain lasted longer than two months, I knew I had to do something different. Your gentle nature compliments your knowledge in this area. I met Lanelle at a business owner’s breakfast. I had heard of acupuncture but never paid much attention. As Lanelle got up to share about her business she said that acupuncture could help with allergies and that immediately got my attention. I’ve suffered with allergies since I was a child (I was 47 when I met Lanelle) and for the last 8 years had been going to standard doctors for severe abdominal pain and frequent allergy issues. I was willing to try anything! At the initial consultation Lanelle was very professional and asked so many questions that I felt like I was being vetted by the secret service (lol). Not that she was being nosey, she genuinely cares and wants to help her clients. As she was beginning the acupuncture treatment I was asking questions. She began to explain chi and meridians and all I could hear was Charlie Brown’s mom. After the first session I was a bit tired but it was unremarkable. When I came back the second time Lanelle told me she believed most of my symptoms may be food allergy related. For 8 years I had been going to regular doctors for my symptoms and they just told me to take a pill and good luck. Lanelle was the first person to actually give me info that I could do something with. At her behest, thinking it could be a gluten or dairy allergy, I gave up all wheat products and dairy. It’s not as hard as you might think if you’ve been looking for answers for years. Up to this point I had been taking Omeprazole (for stomach acid) and allergy pills almost daily for years. Since the second treatment, in the past 3 months I have only needed to take Omeprazole 3 times and only need an allergy pill on days when I have to crawl in an attic. I still don’t understand chi or meridians or flow. What I do know is that I feel better than I have in years! As an alternative medicine provider I would highly recommend Lanelle. She genuinely cares and will explore every avenue to help you resolve your issues.

Handling grief, anxiety

Lanelle has helped me so much, addressing grief and anxiety issues. And, while dealing with those, I mentioned ringing in the ear, which really bothers me, and she is working on that aspect of my well-being, as well.Thanks, Lanelle!

The real deal!

I actually drive over HWY 17 to see Lanelle even though I am surrounded by practitioners. She is great and has continuously helped me with any issues that I may have. I strongly recommend seeing her.

Making progress

I have been going to Lanelle for help for about a month now. This started with back pain and a sore neck, possibly related. After the 2nd session the neck pain was gone. Now after 4 sessions the back pain has lessened and is not as noticeable. She also is helping with a nerve issue in my foot that is from 20 years ago. That problem seems to be improving also. I am happy with Lanelle's services and intend to keep on going to her until these issues are resolved.

No more back pain!

I went to Lanelle for a nagging pain in my low back that was really uncomfortable. In just one session, the pain went from a 6-7 to a 0 and stayed away for over a month. If I hadn't done something dumb to my back, it probably would've been a permanent fix, since it showed no sign of coming back. I went back, and she was able to get rid of the pain again. She's now my go-to acupuncturist.

Fantastic care!

Lanelle is amazing! I saw her to get help with some really rough morning sickness with symptoms of nausea, vomiting, indigestion, heart burn, low energy and fatigue. By balancing my system with acupuncture, she was able to give me much needed relief to get through the first few rocky months. Now that I am in my 2nd trimester, I'm feeling much more human and normal again so I am continuing regular visits to maintain a healthy pregnancy. I really appreciate Lanelle's 1-on-1 attention!

Pain Free!

I have been awakened from sound sleep with severe back and hip pain for 4 1/2 months. I've averaged between 4-6 hrs of interrupted sleep every night during that time. After starting acupuncture a week ago, I have been miraculously able to sleep through the night, get 8 1/2 hours of sleep and stop pain medication. Lanelle my acupuncturist, is a gift I'm so grateful for! Her treatments are not only painless, the benefits include eliminating chronic pain and giving me a sense of well being.

Still feeling healthy and well

No major ailmetns or illnesses to speak of at this time. Defintely can tell when acupuncture treatment is needed, as my body just does not seem to "feel" at 100%. Very similar to the feeling after visiting a chiropractor or massage therapist. You feel a litte off and then after an adjustment you feel back to normal. Best of all - no medication required.

Wonderful success rate & great service

Glad to NOT be taking medications with very scary side effects with unknown results. Previous doctor was unsure if the meds would even work for the ailment - take 6 months and we'll test you again. The acupuncture treatments have greatly reduced my health issues. Many times she has to remind me of the ailments I suffered from session to session because they are no longer an issue. I continue to go to her for the maintenance of a healthier well-being.
